Prof. Saad Al-Khathlan: The hearts of Muslims long for the Sacred House of God even if you visit it every year

16 August 2018

One of the mercy of God Almighty on His servants is to set them seasons for good, and to make them a field to provide for righteous deeds.
On the divine wisdom of the Hajj, His Eminence Prof. Dr. Saad bin Turki Al-Khathalan, Professor of Graduate Studies at the College of Sharia - Imam University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said that one of the wisdom of God Almighty is to tie the hearts of Muslims to the Sacred House closely spiritually and legally, for these great crowds that come from All parts of the globe, which come to the Sacred House, yearning and eager, with one dress, one purpose, one intention, and one meeting, and the differences and differences between them have disappeared, and they gathered together to say, “Labbayk, God be upon you,” is the realistic embodiment of the saying of our Lord, glory be to Him: A steadfastness for people and security} [Al-Baqarah: 125], “Mathaba” means a place and a home to which the souls long and are affectionate, and do not make up for it even if you visit it every year.
God has His Prophet Abraham instructed to place the house and ordered its construction and preparation for the faithful slaves, and then ordered him after construction was completed that authorized the people to Hajj, {Taking Buana to Abraham place the house that does not involve me something and cleanse my house for Taivin and existing and Alrkaa prostrate * authorized the people pilgrimage unto thee men and Every conscientious person comes from every deep recess} [Al-Hajj: 26-27], then in the next verse God demonstrates wisdom from the premise of Hajj. They realize the benefits to the plentiful and varied people get it, which is the religious and worldly benefits, {to witness the benefits to them and mention the name of God in the days over the beast of cattle, eat them and feed the miserable poor} [Hajj: 28].
Among the benefits of Hajj:
First: Fulfilling the pillars of religion, and demonstrating the power of Islam and the unity of Muslims and their solidarity and communication of all colors and races.
Second: Learn the correct belief and legal rulings. How many Muslims come to Hajj from parts of the earth carrying innovations and myths, and perhaps polytheism, so trustworthy Muslim scholars stand up for them to teach them the true religion and correct their mistakes.
Third: One of the benefits of Hajj is raising souls to dream and patience, for the pilgrim may experience what he gets from fatigue and hardship in travel, or in performing the rituals, so he learns patience, endurance, self-control, preserving the tongue from argument or emotion, and abandoning reprehensible deeds and words, as well as He learns humility, compassion, and compassion for the weak and the needy, especially in crowded places.
Fourth: One of the major benefits of Hajj is forgiveness. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever performs Hajj and does not depart and does not commit adultery, he returns from his sins as the day his mother gave birth to him.”
Finally, one of the benefits of Hajj is to remember the great situation on the Day of Hashr, when one sees the waves of pilgrims flowing towards Mount Arafat, then he remembers the scene on the Day of Resurrection, and this matter was referred to by our Lord, the Glorious and Exalted, at the conclusion of the verses of Hajj from Surat Al-Baqarah: } [Al-Baqarah: 203], in this is an indication that the pilgrim should remember the Day of Judgment and the Day of the Greatest Presentation to God Almighty.
The Sheikh added that the pilgrimage to the Sacred House of God is one of the five pillars of Islam, which was imposed by the All-Knowing Wise, Glory be to a Muslim once in a lifetime. He does not know what may be presented to him in the meeting of the days, perhaps the time has come and one met his Lord while he is failing to perform a great pillar of Islam, and a major obligation of religion.
